Guillotine Damper Valves
Guillotine damper valves type GDV and GDV-T serve mainly for the shut-off and/or flow regulation of different media such as air or process gas.
The construction varies from, welded construction to divided structures for bigger sizes.
The gate valve’s knife can be made as a single design or reach 100% tightness in a tandem design.
For special high temperature applications, ceramic lining inside the body is available according to customer requirements.
Flowrates Technical Advice for Choosing a Knife Gate Damper
It is possible to use a double gate design and pressurize the space betwen the two blades to create an overpresure.
